State Grid Secondary Distribution Box
The SPDB consists of modular built semiconductor switches (SSPC – Solid State Power Controller), which can be used to control different types of loads in the cabin. They have integrated smart metering and monitoring functions. Further on, the SSPC can be configured and controlled via. Primary distribution systems consist of feeders that deliver power from distribution substations to distribution transformers. Electricity is carried from the transmission system to individual consumers. Distribution substations connect to the transmission system and lower the transmission voltage to medium voltage ranging between 2 kV and 33 kV. For this purpose, an innovative distribution module, so called Secondary Power Distribution Box (SPDB), has been developed in this project. -
